HOW CHRISTMAS MUST BE CELEBRATED
The name 'Christmas' comes from the Mass of Christ or Jesus. A Mass service (which is sometimes called Communion or Eucharist) is where Christians remember that Jesus died for us and then came back to life. The 'Christ-Mass' service was the only one that was allowed to take place after sunset (and before sunrise the next day), so people had it at midnight So we get the name Christ-Mass, shortened to Christmas.
By knowing this concept in religious matters Christmas is celebrated differently by the many variations of former christians that exist.It depends on your own faith and how you as a christian want to celebrate this special date.
In social aspects i believe that christmas is a great excuse to gather with your friends and family, spend time together until new years eve.Also christmas makes room for traveling and take "winter break" for take a time for ourself and reflecting back on everything we did and learned from the year in perspective.
At my personal perspective christmas is a time of joy and sharing with the ones you love the most, christmas allow us to gve without reciving nothing back.Just pure good intentions towards the people around us and helping one another, forgive and irradiate love.
